Developed the Home Packaging Management Solution, a cloud-based relational database application designed to organize household belongings, streamline inventory audits, and simplify the coordination of frequent relocations.
Relocation Inventory & Partial Unpacking
For individuals or families undergoing frequent transfers, maintaining visibility over packed boxes, preventing lost items, and finding specific belongings when partially unpacked are common struggles. This solution replaces disorganized checklists with a secure, collaborative web application:
- Oracle APEX & OCI Compute: Deployed on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, leveraging Oracle APEX’s metadata-driven architecture to deliver a fast, responsive mobile-friendly interface.
- Granular Database Organization: Users track boxes by serial identifiers, box dimensions, current room categories, and storage levels. Items are cataloged with names, quantities, and type descriptions.
- Instant Search & Querying: A search interface allows family members to search for keywords (e.g., “winter coat” or “charger”) and instantly get the exact box serial number and room storage location.
- Manpower Collaboration & Reports: Multi-user accounts support collaborative box packing. Built-in interactive charts summarize room-wise distributions and packing progress.
